- This unit is a Polycarbonate housing with SS 316L blades and SS-316 pipe with flange type which unlike other static mixers,allows for a visual inspection of the mixing process. All static mixers are edge sealed to the inside of the housing standard with male NPT threads. Sizes are available from 3/4″ to 2″.
In response to a growing need for high quality static mixers at a lower price, Ozone Engineers
developed the SM Series Polycarbonate housing with SS 316L blades. This unit is a clear
Polycarbonate static mixer, which unlike other static mixers, allows for a visual inspection of the
mixing process. All SM Series static mixers are made in standard SS 316L 6 element
configurations with edge sealed to the inside of the housing. The advantages of edge sealing
are twofold. Not only does edge sealing increase mixing efficiency, but this bonding method
also increases the structural integrity of the entire mixer. All mixers come standard with
male NPT threads Sizes.
- One of the primary uses of the SM Series static mixers is in the dilution of polymers and flocculants. With proper blending,
it is quite common to recover the cost of a mixer in a relatively short period of time, due to the lower chemical costs associated
with better mixing. Sizes are available from 3/4″ to 2″.
